Thank you for visiting my blog. Here’s a bit about me and why I started this blog:-

After years of ignoring my increasing cholesterol levels, I got a big wake up call in February 2016 when I found out my cholesterol was in the high-risk category. I decided I could no longer sweep it under the carpet, so made it my mission to find out how to reduce my cholesterol and keep it low, as I didn’t want to end up having to take statins.

After doing a lot of research and getting advice from medical and health professionals, I made adjustments to my diet to see if I could lower my cholesterol naturally. By reducing the amount of saturated fat in my diet, and adding cholesterol-reducing foods to my meals, I managed to reduce my cholesterol in just 6 weeks, and thankfully it has stayed low ever since.

I decided to create this blog to record and share all the things I’ve learned along the way, (summarised on this page), and hopefully help other people in similar situations.

I should probably mention, I have a normal 9-5 job (I work as a digital analyst in London) and two young kids. So, like a lot of you, I don’t have a huge amount of time to prepare lavish meals. This has motivated me to come up with my own quick and easy recipes, and to find other simple online cholesterol-friendly recipes that tick all the boxes. I’ve created this page with links to all of these recipes, which I update every time I find or create a new one. Hopefully you will find this useful too.
